FAQ: Is the TRZ® Analyzer multifunctional? Does it also work in doppler-type transducer and electromagnetic type? I am trying to explain to my team the features of this model. Mr. A.N.
Examples of ultrasonic devices and typical configurations testable by the TRZ® Analyzer.
If your doppler transducer is piezoelectric and its frequency is within 1-200 kHz range, yes, TRZ® Analyzer will be able to test it. TRZ® Analyzer and Software were designed for piezoelectric transducers and should be able to measure magnetostrictive transducers impedance curve as well (|Z(f)|), but the post processing for frequencies detection and mechanical quality factor (Qm) calculation may not work properly for this particular type because the curve pattern is the opposite to piezoelectric transducers.
FAQ: We have an ultrasonic horn with different power ranging from 2000 to 6000 Watts, can TRZ® Analyzer drive all this range? Mr. F.K.
Yes, you can test ultrasonic horns ranging from 2000 to 6000 Watts with TRZ® Analyzer. Note: TRZ® Analyzer apply only low voltage/power and is able to test any converter, stack or horn within 1-200 kHz frequency range, regardless the maximum power.
